Earlier this month. Andy Nguyen defended her King of the cage Atomweight Championship against undefeated Bi “KillHerBee” Nguyen.

The fight was action packed from bell to bell, leaving the Champ with her hands raised and her CrAsian’s Cheering.

After every fight, win or lose. Andy says she treats herself to a small Vacation. I think this is an important aspect of any sport. These athletes train all day, every day. Especially in Mixed Martial Arts. They put so much strain and stress on their bodies. Pushing themselves in all aspects of fighting and conditioning. From running, to Boxing. From wrestling, to Jiu-Jitsu. These guys and gals do it all, just to get into the cage and perform. So its so important for them to sit back, relax and hit the reset button.

BUT……All holidays come to an end, just as Andy’s trip to Miami. She is already back in the gym, getting ready for a possible Championship title defense in the late summer. After that, Andy will head over to Japan. To enter in the Rizin Fighting Federation Grand-Prix in October. So with a full schedule on her calendar. Andy says she just has to train carefully and enter these fights healthy. No matter what happens, she guarantees we wont be disappointed saying-

“I TRAIN FULL TIME….IF YOU THOUGHT THESE PAST FEW FIGHTS WERE GOOD. I PROMISE YOU GUYS WILL BE ENTERTAINED BY MY NEXT PERFORMANCE(S)!!”
